¡Hola todos!
My name is Jenna Hoglen and this is my tenth year at BEHS. I will be teaching Spanish I and Spanish II. I love languages and will do my best to share my enthusiasm.
I was fortunate to grow up overseas, giving me a wide knowledge of different cultures. When I was five months old, my family moved to Spain. Four years later we moved to Belgium where I attended French-speaking Belgian schools from pre-school through eighth grade. I went to high school at St. John’s International School in Waterloo, Belgium. Yes, it is the place where Napoleon “met his Waterloo.” I went to college at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where I majored in French and Spanish. While I was there, I studied abroad in Mexico and China. Since then, I have received my Masters of Arts in Spanish at the University of Louisville and my Masters of Arts in School Improvement at Campbellsville University.
